Cards - Christmas

Rejoice and For Unto Us

October 6, 2026 - By Sherri Minne

Greetings fellow crafters. Back with you this Tuesday for another Terrific Tuesday card. I am holding my annual Christmas Stamp-a-Stack in November, and here’s a card we will be doing. The Rejoice stamp set is shown in the 2026 September to December catalog which is live right now. I really like the set, but sometimes wonder why in a lot of nativity sets the main characters don’t have facial features. Guess it’s the in thing these days. I would prefer they did, but you have to go with what you can get. Here’s our card for today:

Two colors of embossing powder – white and silver – make the images pop. Heat embossing is magical in my opinion.

CARD RECIPE:

STAMPS: Rejoice, For Unto Us (R)> PAPER: Secret Sea 5-1/2×8-1/2, Scored @ 4-1/4, 3-1/2×4-3/4, Scrap, Secret Sea 2-Tone 4×5-1/4, Basic White 4×5-1/4, 1-1/2×2, Silver Foil 3-3/4×5 > INK: Secret Sea, Versamark > DIES: Everyday Arches, Nested Essentials > EMBOSSING FOLDER: Swirls of Magic > OTHER: White & Silver Embossing Powders, Embellishment of choice

VIDEO:

Thanks for watching. Hope you have a great week. Blessings!

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 14:27 (NIV)

September 25, 2026 - By Sherri Minne

I know it’s not Tuesday, but this has been a week. Video did post on Tuesday thanks to me finally learning how to schedule my videos to upload for a certain day. Since this has been such a hectic week, I am just now getting the blog post published. The Fun for Fall Bundle is a favorite of mine. I love all things fall – weather, colors, foods, and everything to do with fall. Even though the coloring takes some time this card was such fun to make.

CARD RECIPE:

Since weekend is close hope you all have a great one. Blessings!

And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. ³⁹No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. Simply Leaves Thinking of You

September 8, 2026 - By Sherri Minne

Hello all! I don’t understand how Tuesday rolls around so fast, but here we are with another Terrific Tuesday creation. The Simply Leaves Bundle uses a punch instead of dies. I love using a punch since it is so quick and easy. Here’s the card:

CARD RECIPE:

STAMPS: Simply Leaves, Poetic Petals > PAPER: Golden Glow 5-1/2×8-1/2 Score 4-1/4, Basic Beige 4×5-1/4 > DESIGNER SERIES PAPER: Gingham Gallery 4×4, scrap > INK: Pecan Pie > PUNCH: Simple Leaf > EMBOSSING FOLDER: Softly Woven > OTHER: Linen Thread, Flower Accents

I enjoy making cards that are versatile and can be appropriate for any sentiment of occasion. Feel like this card is one of those.

VIDEO:

I contradict myself in the video. In the beginning I say this isn’t a card we will be doing in class, and then further on I say this is a card we will be doing in our class next week. Honestly I haven’t made up my mind whether this will be a class card or not. Time will tell!

Thanks for reading/viewing. Blessings!

Cards - Sympathy - Thank You

All Aflutter Thank you

June 16, 2026 - By Sherri Minne

Another week flew by, and June is half over. It’s going to be holiday time before we turn around. Today’s card features the All Aflutter stamp set with matching punch. The layout can used for any occasions, and I made Sympathy and Thank You cards. Would also make a great birthday card. Here’s pictures of both cards I made.

There are lots of techniques you can use on the butterflies. On the Thank You card I stamped on colored cardstock and heat embossed with black embossing powder. On Sympathy card the butterflies are colored with Hydrangea Hue light and dark blends.

VIDEO:

I love butterflies so these cards were fun to make. Hope you have a good week, and if the Lord wills I’ll be back next week with another video. Blessings!
