Another terrific Tuesday card. My stash always runs low on Masculine Birthday cards so today we are making one to help replenish my stash. This card goes together so quickly, and it’s a great way to use of some of your Designer Series Paper scraps.

Thoughtful Journey with Heartfelt Hexagon

How’s it going everybody? Everything is great up here on the hill. What a beautiful cool day here in Colorado. My kind of day, but 90+ days are coming back after Wednesday.

Today’s card features the absolutely beautiful Thoughtful Journey 6×6 Designer Series Paper. Can’t get enough of this paper. I think it is some of the prettiest Stampin Up has ever done. Lay out is thanks to Connie Stewart of Simplysimplestamping. Here’s the card.

Birthday - Stampin'Up!

Hello everyone. How’s it going? We are having a scorcher today. Mid 90s for the next couple of days which is very unusual for Colorado in Mid-June. Whew! Another video means another post. I know it’s not Tuesday, but I had a full day of running around yesterday with appointments for my husband. He is now driving so I am hoping my running around will slow down. Enough chit chat, let’s get on with today’s card. I am featuring the Unbounded Love bundle from the 24-25 Annual Catalog. Card is quick, simple, easy, and maximizes the use of our 6×6 Designer Series Paper. Thanks to CraftyAl for the cutting diagram.

Cutest Cow makes Cutest Card

Greetings all! Another Tuesday and another card. One of our church members is celebrating his 82nd birthday soon, and he was a dairy farmer for many years. So I made him a Cutest Cow birthday card. Had such fun doing this one, and I know he will enjoy the card. Of course we have our own cows so it’s appropriate. Stamp set comes with a matching punch which makes it very easy to do the cow focal point.

Beauty of the Deep Happy Birthday

I have lots of “sea” themed stamp sets, and have never used some of them. They aren’t all current, but I want to use them. Here’s the card for today.

Fun On Wheels Circle Birthday

Do you have a skateboarder, scooter or bike rider in your family or friends? Todays stamp set is perfect if you do. I do a card ministry at my church, and try to send birthday/anniversary cards to all the members. I don’t have many cards for older boys/younger men in my stash. Felt this card would fit the bill. Just realized I never did a blog post for my video on Tuesday, May 9th. As the saying goes “better late than never”. My card uses a 6×6 sheet of Designer Series Paper to the max. Only 2 or 3 small pieces to dispose of, and even better you get two cards from one sheet of DSP. Thanks to Klompenstampers for the cutting layout. I made this card a happy birthday since that is what I mail the most. As title implies almost everything I used on this card is retired. I am trying to use what I have, and save the new stuff for later.

CARD RECIPE:

Stamps, paper and ink of your choice. Cardbase 5-1/2″x8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″, First Layer 3-7/8″x5-1/8″, Designer Series Paper of your choice 6″x6″, 2 sentiment layers @ 1″x5″ and 1-1/4″x5″ one should be light enough to stamp on, embellishment of your choice.

Cutting for 6×6″ DSP so you can get two cards from one sheet:
1. Cut at 2″x5-1/2″
2. Cut at 3-3/4″x5″
You will have three small pieces to save or trash.

Next week’s card will use the 2″x5-1/2″ piece of DSP for the front of card. There will be a video and blog post for that card.

Marigold Moments Thanks or Happy Birthday

Good morning to everyone. Today’s Tuesday card features the Marigold Moments bundle from the 2023 January to April Stampin Up Mini Catalog. I kind of overlooked this stamp set in the catalog, and then I saw a video by Amy Koender, and really liked everything about the stamp set and the card. In fact I liked Amy’s work so much this card is an exact case. I didn’t change a thing. Thank you Amy!

The card is very versatile, and could be used for so many occasions using any greeting that applies. I will be making some Mother’s Day and Sympathy cards with this layout. Hope you feel the same way about the card.

Happy Valentine’s Day to you all. My husband and I don’t do the Valentine thing. We’ve been married almost 60 years, and there’s no doubt our marriage is full of love. Floral industry and greeting card makers love this day. I made a few cards myself, and did Valentine treat boxes for my Sunday School kids
