Mediterranean Blooms Designer Series Paper

Good morning everyone! At least it is morning for me as I am writing this on Wednesday, August 14th. Can’t believe this month is half over already. I am a day late writing this post, but I did get the video uploaded yesterday. My husband had his second surgery in four months on Monday the 12th so that day was spent at the hospital. He had rotator/bicep shoulder repair and it went well. However with any surgery there are pain and practical issues to be worked out. It’s hard to get him dressed with one arm in a big old sling. Thankfully surgery was on the left shoulder, and he is right handed. He can do lots of things, but some require my help. Enough babbling – let’s get to the card. The focal point on the front is actually from the Mediterranean Blooms Designer Series Paper. I love it when the Stampin Up Dies cut out some of the images of the Designer Series Paper. Makes the card go pretty quickly.

I love the tile look of the paper on the front. Used a generic greeting so card could be used for any type of occasion. We will be doing this card at class this week. Sketched Butterfly Super Easy to Stepped Up

Hello everyone! Here’s this weeks Terrific Tuesday card. It can be super simple or you can step it up to make it a bit more fancy. Time required to make is minimal in both cases. Also features butterflies which I love. Thanks to Pootles Papercraft from the UK for inspiration.

Doesn’t show in the photos very well, but large butterfly is covered with Wink of Stella. Love the sparkle.

Countryside Inn Corner Fold Birthday Card

Happy Tuesday everyone. Can’t believe another week has flown by, and it’s time for our Terrific Tuesday card. Our card is very similar to last week’s, but using a different fold technique. We are doing an angled fold this time. Same Designer Series Paper but different pattern. These cards are so quick to make, and can be for any occasion using any stamp set you have on hand.

Love this card, and have made many variations. Just changed the Designer Series Paper and sentiment.

Thoughtful Journey with Heartfelt Hexagon

How’s it going everybody? Everything is great up here on the hill. What a beautiful cool day here in Colorado. My kind of day, but 90+ days are coming back after Wednesday.

Today’s card features the absolutely beautiful Thoughtful Journey 6×6 Designer Series Paper. Can’t get enough of this paper. I think it is some of the prettiest Stampin Up has ever done. Lay out is thanks to Connie Stewart of Simplysimplestamping. Here’s the card.

Birthday - Stampin'Up!

Hello everyone. How’s it going? We are having a scorcher today. Mid 90s for the next couple of days which is very unusual for Colorado in Mid-June. Whew! Another video means another post. I know it’s not Tuesday, but I had a full day of running around yesterday with appointments for my husband. He is now driving so I am hoping my running around will slow down. Enough chit chat, let’s get on with today’s card. I am featuring the Unbounded Love bundle from the 24-25 Annual Catalog. Card is quick, simple, easy, and maximizes the use of our 6×6 Designer Series Paper. Thanks to CraftyAl for the cutting diagram.

Fun Fold Graduation Book Card

Greetings everyone. I was beginning to think I would never get back to doing a video. My husband had hip replacement surgery on April 18th, and we didn’t realize how much work it would take to get him on the road to recovery. He is doing very well, but still has six weeks to go before he can bend from the waist. He’s walking with a cane, but very close to getting rid of that help. Hopefully from this point forward I can get back on my regular crafting schedule.

Today’s card is for graduation. Probably a bit late for some of you, but there are still ceremonies going on in schools. This card features one of my favorite fun folds. It opens like a book, and pretty easy to make.

Cutest Cow makes Cutest Card

Greetings all! Another Tuesday and another card. One of our church members is celebrating his 82nd birthday soon, and he was a dairy farmer for many years. So I made him a Cutest Cow birthday card. Had such fun doing this one, and I know he will enjoy the card. Of course we have our own cows so it’s appropriate. Stamp set comes with a matching punch which makes it very easy to do the cow focal point.

Book Fold Card For Any Occasion

Sorry to have been absent for so long. Myriad technical difficulties which I believe have now been resolved. Blog has a new look after a major rebuild. Today’s card is one of my most favorite fun folds – Book Fold. I love books, and am always reading which might explain why I like this fold so much.
