    Timeless Arrangements Happy Birthday

    Greetings from the “hill”.  I say that because we have a 320 acre farm, and our house sits on top of a hill facing west.  Consequently we have fantastic views of the beautiful Colorado mountains.  Today is no exception.

    Today we are doing a happy birthday showcasing the Timeless Arrangements bundle, 23-25 In Color 6×6 Designer Series Paper, and the 23-25 In Color Dots.  Quick and easy and easily adaptable to any occasion and any designer series paper.

    All Retired (almost)

    Just realized I never did a blog post for my video on Tuesday, May 9th.  As the saying goes “better late than never”.  My card uses a 6×6 sheet of Designer Series Paper to the max.  Only 2 or 3 small pieces to dispose of, and even better you get two cards from one sheet of DSP.  Thanks to Klompenstampers for the cutting layout.  I made this card a happy birthday since that is what I mail the most.  As title implies almost everything I used on this card is retired.  I am trying to use what I have, and save the new stuff for later.

    Marigold Moments Thanks or Happy Birthday

    Good morning to everyone.  Today’s Tuesday card features the Marigold Moments bundle from the 2023 January to April Stampin Up Mini Catalog.  I kind of overlooked this stamp set in the catalog, and then I saw a video by Amy Koender, and really liked everything about the stamp set and the card.  In fact I liked Amy’s work so much this card is an exact case.  I didn’t change a thing.  Thank you Amy!

    The card is very versatile, and could be used for so many occasions using any greeting that applies.  I will be making some Mother’s Day and Sympathy cards with this layout.  Hope you feel the same way about the card.

    Happy Valentine’s Day to you all.  My husband and I don’t do the Valentine thing.  We’ve been married almost 60 years, and there’s no doubt our marriage is full of love.  Floral industry and greeting card makers love this day.  I  made a few cards myself, and did Valentine treat boxes for my Sunday School kids

    Have a blessed day!

    The last few days have been a bit tough.  A wonderful couple who are fellow believers is going through a very difficult time.  He has been valiantly fighting brain cancer, but has now stopped treatment; and is under hospice care.  This turn of events is catastrophic for his wife.  Another sweet lady from church lost her husband yesterday.  His health wasn’t the best, but his death was unexpected.  These situations make me realize how truly blessed by God I am.  I am so thankful for Him and my salvation.  I am also very thankful for my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.   We will all be there for those that are going through such difficult times.   Blessings!

    Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.  Matthew11:2-30

    Hello everyone!  Gosh it has been almost two months since I last posted to my blog.  The days and months go by so fast.  I have been so busy taking my husband to back treatment appointments along with this being the busy time for my church.  Lots and lots of things going on, but hopefully I can get back to some kind of schedule with videos and blog posts.

    Today’s Terrific Tuesday card features an early release of a bundle that will be in the 2023 January-July Mini Catalog.  Set is called Framed Florets, and it is a great bundle.  The Framed Florets Dies feature some ovals that I absolutely love.  I am featuring one of the ovals on the card for today.

    Isaiah 40:28-31

    28 Do you not know?  Have you not heard?  The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth.
    He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.
    29 He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.
    30 Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall;
    31 but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.  They will soar on wings like eagles;
        they will run and not grow weary,
